Accounts and website previews

Privacy

Updated October 16, 2026. You can explore public examples or create an account to save private drafts. Payments and publishing are not open yet.

Access to this preview

Anyone with the website link can view this preview without signing in. Viewing it does not grant editing access or access to private project files. Hosting systems may process ordinary technical information needed to serve and protect the website.

What you enter here

The guided intake creates visual previews in your current browser tab. It does not submit answers or files, create an order, send email, or take payment. Use only sample or non-sensitive material while exploring it.

If you email us

Email links open your email app. When you write to us, we receive your email address and message in our Zoho Mail inbox so we can respond. The website preview itself does not send email.

Age checks and teen privacy

Accounts are initially for U.S. residents age 13 and older. When you create an account, our server checks the birth date and country you enter. Returning users sign in first, and we reuse the saved eligibility record for that authenticated account. An older account without a completed check must complete it once before accessing its workspace. We do not store your full birth date. We store your age group (13–17 or 18+), U.S. residence selection, the time and policy version of your check, and a record of the guardian-permission statement for teen accounts. This statement is not independently verified parental consent. Your age group is not displayed publicly. An essential eligibility cookie and temporary record prevent reuse of an account-setup check and discourage immediate retries after an ineligible result. Eligible checks expire after 20 minutes and denied checks after 24 hours; expired records are removed on a subsequent check.

Teen accounts cannot purchase, publish public stories, or receive promotional emails. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly offer accounts to children under 13. Contact support if you believe a child under 13 has an account; we will restrict access while reviewing the report and remove improperly collected information, subject to necessary legal or security records. A parent or guardian does not automatically receive access to a teen’s private content.

Your private account

When you sign in, Auth0 handles email-and-password accounts or connects you to Google, and checks your verified email. Google handles the password and recovery for Google sign-in. Stories in Full stores your account identifier, email address, required agreement record, optional email preference, and session records. Secure, essential cookies support eligibility, sign-in, and your session. We do not receive or store your password. You may optionally upload a profile photo. We resize it, remove embedded metadata, and store a small copy with your account. It is visible in your signed-in account and is not included in public stories. You can replace it or restore the default icon from the profile menu. Removed or replaced copies may remain in restricted backups for up to 30 days, and our recovery process excludes copies recorded as removed.

Complimentary VIP invitations

VIP invitations are limited to selected adult accounts. We store the account’s access level, the invitation or revocation record, and the version and time of an accepted VIP agreement. Security records identify the acting and affected accounts and the type and time of an access change. They help us enforce personal use, investigate misuse, and avoid restoring revoked privileges. We do not use device fingerprinting or collect precise location to enforce VIP access. The owner can revoke VIP access and sign out its sessions; this does not automatically delete the account’s stories or start charges.

Saved stories and photos

Projects saved in My stories, including their text, photos, full design, and cover settings, are stored online using our hosting provider and Cloudflare database and file storage. Each request to a private project or photo requires your account session. Drafts are not published and have no public sharing link.

Photos selected through our editor are resized to a maximum of 2048 pixels on the longest side and re-encoded before upload to remove source metadata. This preparation does not remove information visibly shown in the image. Keep your own originals. Account limits are 20 projects, 12 photos per project, and 100 MB of stored photos. Archiving a project keeps its data so you can restore it.

How we use your information

We use account information and story material to provide, protect, and support your workspace. Authorized service providers process it for these purposes. Support staff may access information when needed to resolve a request. We do not put your private story material in our advertising or public galleries without separate permission.

Auth0 and Resend deliver essential account emails. Zoho Mail handles messages you send to support. For adult accounts, promotional emails are optional and separate from required account messages. Promotional emails are unavailable for teen accounts. You can change your preference in My account. Marketing campaigns are not active yet.

Security and recovery

Our hosting and sign-in providers process technical records to protect the service. We use short-lived rate-limit records derived from network information to discourage abuse. Signed password-change notifications may retain an event identifier, account identifier, and processing time for up to 30 days, with cleanup on later notifications. They contain no password. We do not use birthdays or story details as security questions. Account recovery requires reliable evidence of ownership; see our account recovery guidance before sending personal information.

Keeping and removing your work

Saved drafts remain in your account when you close the browser or sign out. Archiving does not delete them. Removing a photo deletes it from the private photo library and removes it from the cover if selected. Free drafts have no automatic expiration. Paid stories become private when paid access ends and are retained for 90 days. After that period, we require a confirmed deletion warning and at least 7 days of grace, with no active billing or support hold, before automatic removal. We send retention warnings to your verified account email. Confirmation means our email service reports acceptance by the receiving mail server, or you explicitly acknowledge the warning in Manage. The grace period begins no earlier than confirmation. Sending alone does not count; failed, bounced, or unconfirmed email delivery blocks automatic removal. Email delivery does not prove that a message was read or placed in the inbox. You can request permanent project deletion in Manage, with a 7-day window to cancel. Contact support from your account email for an account deletion request or a retention hold. Restricted recovery snapshots may contain removed material for up to 30 days; the current deletion journal must be applied before recovery, so deleted work is not put back into service. Downloaded owner backup copies are separately controlled and must be removed when no longer needed. Records required to address fraud, disputes, or legal obligations may need to be retained.

Your choices

You can explore the public guided intake without an account; refreshing that preview clears its unsaved sample material. Saved account projects remain online. For privacy questions, email support@storiesinfull.com.
